Coachella

Coachella is an annual music and arts festival in California. It is the home of music and arts lovers and fashion enthusiasts. People dress up in Coachella in mostly bohemian outfits. I decided to name my outfit Coachella because it is the exact outfit I'm going to wear in Coachella (If I'm given a chance).

Into the woods

These photos are very artistic, very unique, very sophisticated, and they all were taken by my 8 year old brother. When my mom and aunt went shopping in Botanical Garden, I asked my brother, Mark, who is a self-proclaimed number 1 fan of mine, to take outfit photos for my blog. Although he’s inexperienced for this kind of stuff, he managed to take some amazing photos. Pretty darn good for an 8 year old. On the other hand, a little Baguio shopping tip: If you are trying to buy pasalubongs, I totally recommend you guys to go to Botanical garden. Everything is cheaper there, not to mention there is no entrance fee.

Forevermore

This spot was in Sitio La Presa in Tuba, Benguet. This is the location where the famous TV drama Forever more took place. I love the mountain ranges. Meanwhile, the foggy ride before reaching the place was my favorite. I call this Laputa on my Instagram post because it feels like I'm on a flying island with the clouds underneath me. If you are planning to visit Sitio La Presa, I recommend using the Waze app for accurate road directions and approximate travel time. It only took us 45 minutes from the city to the said destination.
It's very challenging to dress up in a tropical country like Philippines. I love creating my look from basic pieces like my new found love, plain white tees. Pairing it up with a floral print skort would give a nice accent. Lastly when the temperature gets low, a simple jacket or cardigan would do the trick.
I wore my lace bomber jacket with this look to add texture to my outfit.
Since we're doing a lot of walking, I wore my chunky low heeled strappy sandals from Charles and Keith. My feet thanked me!
I love using cross body bag when travelling and bringing only the essentials. I don't want hurting my shoulders for bringing a big bag with things that I don't even care to use when travelling.

Traveling in style

Traveling has been my thing since college. Dressing comfortably and appropriately is part of it. When traveling, I learned that wearing lightweight clothes is a must and layering is essential especially when traveling to a hotter or colder destination.
Just like what I learned from Chriselle Lim's  video Traveling Outfits With Evelina Barry. The 3 layer rule where you can start layering with your basic tee, tank top or a dress and when it gets cold, you can throw on a lightweight cover up like a cardigan or kimono. When you arrived to the destination where it gets colder you can get your jacket or trench coat for extra heat. You can always switch it up like if you're from a cold weather, you can start from 3 layers down to the last layer. In my case my family and I went to Baguio and we all know how butt-burning the ride were and I choose to wear a super comfortable maxi dress and paired it with a black cardigan.
A slip on footwear is a must, you can choose from an open or closed shoes. I opt for my Michael Kors sandals because it's very comfortable, it feels like I'm wearing a flip flops but still looking stylish.

Travel Tips:
1. Consider the travel time before planning the trip, usually it'll take you about 2-3 hours from Manila depending on the traffic.
2. Research about the directions prior to the day of travelling. Waze app is helpful but we found asking-random-strangers more helpful when looking for directions.
3. Avoid bringing food because there's a corkage which is 100php per pax. There is a mini snack bar available at the place which is very affordable and delicious.
4. Research about the weather, when its raining, some attractions were closed for safety concerns.
5. DO NOT FORGET TO WEAR RUBBER SHOES. Some attractions require rubber shoes.
6. Put a lot of sunblock.
I opt to wear comfortable clothes and rubber shoes because Sand Box yields more sweat, more fun!

Legalized

Time flies so fast I can't believe I'm already 21 years old. Yes your heard it right, I'm at my legal age. Legal to enter casinos, drink at the bar I'm talking about the strict alcohol ban in the US to everyone under 21 years old, but who cares I'm allergic to alcohol anyways and even get arrested.

It was a typical Sunday morning, I woke up early and head to church with my family. after church, we went straight to Pamana, a restaurant in Tagaytay that serves Filipino cuisine. It is a cozy restaurant that is very classy, decorated with antique items like photographs, mirrors, camera, chairs, tables and even the silverware and flatware.

Pamana really satisfies our taste buds. They serve sumptuous meals. The food serving is big and it is really worth it. I would like to commend their waiters for treating us like royalty. They even gave me a free ice cream and sang "happy birthday" for me thrice. They are amusing.
Please bare this out of focus shot, I'd like to include this because I look so happy in this photo
Pamana's home-made ice cream. It's really delicious. I got this for free because it's my birthday!
It took me several years in experimenting what will be my favorite brand. I love Forever21 for their vast clothes collection, Topshop for having a XXS size, Dorothy Perkins for having heir petite collection and Cotton On for their gorgeous clothes but nothing can compare to Bershka, Bershka opened its first store in the Philippines last March 2013 in Glorietta 2, Makati City. I was in the US that time so I wasn't aware of this brand. My first ever Bershka purchase was at SM Aura Taguig and from then on, I can't keep myself from going to Bershka when I hit the mall if there's a Bershka store nearby. I love how their clothes fit my small frame. They have nice clothes collection that I really love.
This back bow detail top is really gorgeous, if only I have a photo of the back detail. It really look so sexy but not too revealing.
I am also wearing my almost seamless skater skirt from Bershka. This is so flattering and I love that it is fit but ruffled on the edge. My Relic 3 in 1 purse in royal blue is my birthday bag. A purse that is convertible to a shoulder bag, cross body bag and a purse like how I used mine.
